About Us

The Schoharie Valley Region (SVR) is a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. We were founded in 1990 by John Baumgarten here in Schoharie County, New York.  Nestled in the northern foothills of the Catskill Mountains, our members own and care for our classic vehicles from the Turn of the Century to the 1990’s!  Our activities involve driving our old vehicles and hosting our Annual Car Show at the Blenheim-Gilboa Visitors Center.  We’ve had “Breakfast Tours”,  “Ice Cream Tours”,  and our annual “Mystery Tour” through the countryside!   We’re always looking for an excuse to drive the “old iron”! We caravan to local car shows and form up in local parades! Join Us!
